On Our Anniversary — 26 + 10.

No one promised it would be easy.
Still, neither of us wanted to last only to survive.
If we were to be true to our Vows,
Then Ours would be a life together
Of honesty, truth, hope and Faith.

In order for Us to stay truly In Love,
We would spend a decade apart in Reflection,
As did Our People in the desert a decade times four.

I am so Thankful to be back together,
Looking forward to at least another decade
Together on this planet,
One day at a time.
